  15.         That's okay!  We'd be delighted to have you distribute our
  16.         software so long as you keep all our files together and get rid of
  17.         old versions of our products when new ones become available.

  19.         This file provides information regarding the posting of the VERTEX
  20.         0.9E CLIPPER Library package on Bulletin Board Systems.

  22.         Shareware distributors, disk vendors, and user groups who wish to
  23.         distribute the VERTEX CLIPPER Library should refer to VENDOR.TXT
  24.         for complete information relating to them.

  26.         Individual and company users should refer to LICENSE.TXT and
  27.         REGISTER.TXT for information.

  31.         W.A. Steinert, VERTEX Enterprises encourages you to post the
  32.         unregistered version of the VERTEX CLIPPER Library on your BBS
  33.         subject to the following restrictions:

  35.         The VERTEX Library package is defined as containing all the
  36.         material listed in the FILES.TXT text file. If any files listed in
  37.         the FILES.TXT text file, or the FILES.TXT file itself, are
  38.         missing, then the package is not complete and distribution is
  39.         forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a complete package
  40.         suitable for distribution.

  42.         1.  The VERTEX Library package - including all related program
  43.         files and documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way
  44.         (other than that mentioned in the following paragraph) and must be
  45.         distributed as a complete package, without exception.
  46.  
  47.         2.  Many BBS's customarily add a small text file (advertisement)
  48.         to each archived file.  This text file describes the BBS and tells
  49.         people that the file was downloaded from that particular BBS.
  50.         Other BBS's add a small message with their BBS name and phone
  51.         number into the compressed file which will display when the file
  52.         is uncompressed.  Either of these methods of mentioning your BBS
  53.         is acceptable and may be used, provided that the program and
  54.         documentation is otherwise unmodified and complete.

  56.         3.  You may charge a distribution fee for the package, but you
  57.         must not represent in any way that you are selling the software
  58.         itself.

  60.         VERTEX Enterprises prohibits the distribution of outdated versions
  61.         of our products without written permission from W.A. Steinert. If
  62.         the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please
  63.         contact us to ensure that you have the most current version.  This
  64.         version was released in September, 1992.

  66.         You shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  67.         disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed
  68.         program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such
  69.         unauthorized use shall result in immediate and automatic
  70.         termination of this license.

  72.         W.A. Steinert reserves the right to withdraw permission from any
  73.         vendor to distribute our products at any time and for any reason.
